Oska (Multi European Ch/Aust Ch Ashlaren Caipiroska)

Oska is a very special boy at Ashlaren, not only as a multi Best in Show winner in Europe and sire of outstanding puppies in Australia and Europe as well as being the Sire of the 2010 American Weimaraner National Winner's Bitch, but he was also a much loved family member whose calm, unassuming nature and handsome looks are much loved and admired.

Oska spent three years abroad in Europe, where he was loved and campaigned by Paulina before he returned to Australia in 2009. Over that time he had multi Best in Show wins in Europe and sired outstanding puppies in Australia and Europe.

  • Oska's daughter "Molly" in Italy aged 5 months

    Molla' (Veni, Vidi Vici) who is owned by Piccoli Principi Weimaraners in Italy is aged 5 months old in this photo. Molla's sire is our boy Oska (this was the last litter Oska sired in Europe before his return to Australia) and her mother is Italian Ch Corinna who was also Italian Junior Champion 2007 and Vice Euro Junior Winner (Female) 2007, Euro champion 2008 (brace) and Vice World Champion (brace).

  • Oska's daughter 'Kika' in Slovenia

    This is another one of the many progeny sired by Oska during his three years in Europe. Her name is Kika Aruba Imperium Star and she is shown and used in field trials in Slovenia. Her mother is Dolce Vita Imperium Star, daughter of Ch Nanis James Robert. Kika's proud owner is Eva Kranjc of Slovenia. Kika was bred by Paulina Walkowska of Imperium Star Weimaraners, Poland.

  • Osaka's grand daughter Multi BIS Aust / NZ Ch Ashlaren Sophie Sapphire

    Sophie was No 1 WEIMARANER IN NEW ZEALAND in 2009 when she went to Carnmellis Weimaraners in NZ and shown by our friend Pip Simmons who bred Sophie to Am Ch/Can Ch/ NZ Ch WinWeims Rio Grande (IMP NZ), This combination produced the 2010 Australian Weimaraner National Junior in show winner, Aust Ch Carnmellis Jovita Ashlaren ("Madison") as well as her litter brother Carnmellis Bravo Ashlaren, whose progeny will soon hit the show rings in Australia.

  • Oska's son 'Gento' in Belgium

    Kobie De Bruycker of Flanders Joy Weimaraners in Belgium was very pleased with her puppies sired by Oska. This is one of the pups named Gento - Flanders Joy Gentleman, aged 15 months.

  • Oska's daughter 'Etna' Imperium Star

    Iron Etna or just 'Etna' is another lovely daughter sired by Oska in Europe.

  • Oska's daughter "Ivette" in Poland

    Ch Ivette Imperium Star is bred by Imperium Star Weimaraners in Poland and beautifully trained and handled by Patrycja Rucinska. Ivette has proven herself in both the show ring and at field trials in Europe.

  • Oska's son 'Reuben' in Australia

    Aust Ch Ashlaren Reuben is Oska's son whose semen has just produced his first litter of 6 GIRLS AND 4 BOYS in Ireland (Karen and Jim Gibson of Zilverein Weimaraners, Mooncoin, Ireland.)

    Reuben is also Sophie's father.

  • Oska's son Ch Weimaranus Quartz Movement

    Oska's progeny have followed in their father's footsteps. At the World Dog Show Weimaraner Specialty held in Sweden in 2008, his son Ch Weimaranus Quartz Movement (pictured) won Best in Show and also won Best in Show at the World Dog Show Continental Gundog Specialty show from entrants from all over Europe.
