Lainie and Rachel are licenced to judge the Gundog Group.  Lainie is also licenced for Working Dogs, Utility and Non Sporting Group - hopefully one day she will be an All Breeds judge. Here is Lainie judging gundogs in New Zealand in late 2003

There is a story behind this photo.  Our lovely girl Audrey died unexpectedly three days after whelping her puppies.  Katie stepped in to mother the orphan pups, even producing milk so that they could feed from her!  Here is Katie in the living room with the pups.  They did have to be hand fed until Katie had enough milk, so we all took turns getting up through the night to feed them. Special thanks to the family, Trish and her family, and Karen and Graham Collins (Weonawei Weimaraners) for all their help.

Katie was still letting the orphan puppies feed from her when they were 5 weeks old and had very sharp teeth!

Each year in July we like to go to the Harden-Murrumburrah Kennel Club Shows. We stay at a nice B&B on a big farm. It was the coldest year ever in 2003! Here's Lainie, Warren, Julie-Anne with Drew, Greg and Rachel in Harden 2003.

Another favourite weekend of shows is at Bermagui each February. In 2004 we combined these with Wolumla shows and stayed for a week's holiday at the caravan park opposite the beach at Bermagui. Here's Warren with Katie enjoying the view.
