Oscar from the Canberra, ACT.. (Multi Ch Davora Bremar Mark Of Ashlaren (MP CAN) x Graysville A Work Of Art (IMP NZ).

Candice Ottaway from the ACT emailed in February 2011 with this lovely endorsement of Ashlaren Weimaraners :
"Our beautiful boy Oscar (sire Mark, bitch Lottie) is just over 14 months old now. He really is the most gorgeous dog!
He is now just over 30kg and looking very lean and athletic. He is always getting compliments when we are out walking about how elegant he is. At the dog park he is everyone's best friend, always friendly. I have never seen him lose his temper or get aggresive. He is such a mummy's boy :)
Our friends Shannon and Karl have been in contact with you and hope to get a puppy soon so it will be great for Oscar to have another Weim to play with."

Edward - (Am/Can/Aust Ch Davora Bremar Mark of Ashlaren x NZ Ch Ashlaren Cezanne)
 |
Stephanie Barlow from Narromine, NSW, sent me this photo and update of her 9 week old puppy she has called 'Edward' sitting on her lounge. Stephanie writes: "... it's so cute he knows that's his spot and it's the only one he goes to and he doesn't even attempt to get up until I say "up". He is so adorable. We do everything together, he is absolutely my best friend and he is already very loyal to me. He is doing great, we are doing lots of playing and I'm sneaking in training whenever I can. I've taught him to sit and fetch and he answers to his name. I'm teaching him to stay now. Everyone who meets him become absolutely smitten and he enjoys meeting all sorts of new people. Again thankyou so much for my little Edward ... The latest update on Edward from Stephanie... "He is really a sweetie pie, and he has adapted really really well. There is never a dull moment at my house with Edward around, thats for sure!"

Jed - (Gr Ch Divani Just A Dash x Ashlaren Giana Havana) at 4 months
 |
From Jenny Crampton in Victoria..."It is lovely to watch Jed interact with everyone in the family... he has a special bond with us all but Ray (my husband) is definitely top dog in the house. We do a little bit of training with him everyday – he will sit and not touch his food until we give him the ok – we are really proud of him for this. He absolutely loves coming across other dogs when we are out walking and interacts really well with them. I know we are bias but we think he is the most handsome boy!'

Vodka and Allegra - (Ch Somerlaren Ima Legend x Ch Ashlaren Bronte)
 |
Rob Vilens and Elizabeth Gray of Glebe, NSW, emailed...' We had a two year old boy over on Saturday, Allegra was amazing, dropped the rough play and just thrived on being patted. poked and prodded..... They are brilliant little animals...They are the stars of the park, they come when called, bounding across the park and sit at my feet. They are pretty good at leave and drop. Have not worked too much on the fetch but they are gradually leaning it from other dogs at the park...'

Tallulah and her feline friends...
 |
If you have ever wondered about Weimaraners and cats living together in harmony, Dee and Hendrick Chojenta from near Newcastle, NSW, write: 'Talulah (Ashlaren Legendary Talulah) and the cats have settled into each other quite well. The female Burmese and Talulah are best friends but the male tries to throw his weight around a bit and chooses to front up to poor Talulah at regular intervals. She can't work out why they won't play with her like her friends at doggie day care where she goes every Wednesday. She loves going there.....She's everybody's darling!/

"Max is a super dog!! We love him to bits!...he is wonderful with our little girl... she's 19 months now. They play together and I'm never worried. When he's had enough he goes and finds a quiet spot to sleep..." (Nicole Dawson, Sydney, devoted owner of Max - Ashlaren Headline AI.)

Ashlaren First To The Mark...'Macie'
| |
Tina Barker, who owns Macie will soon be entering the show ring in Victoria with her. Here is a recent email received soon after getting Macie...."Just a quick email to let you know that all is well with Macie. She has really fitted in perfectly with our routine and all of our animals. She is incredibly smart and so quick to learn. She walks beautifully on the lead, but if she's a bit tired, then she just sits down. This is to be expected at such a young age. I will take some photo's in a couple of weeks for you, so you can see how she is progressing. We just absolutely adore this puppy. Thankyou so much for trusting her into our care...." ...From South Australia...

Amy Turner recently adopted a puppy from our Mark and Emmie litter. Here is a report on her puppy's progress..."Elsie is just 100% AMAZING!!!!! Nick and I are very proud parents. She is just perfect we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful addition to our family. She has settled in very well and hasn't cried or been upset... we can tell that she has come from a loving, warm home. We have been spoiling her rotten....haha We got her home on Friday night...gave her some dinner, had a bit of a play and she hopped straight on her pillow and fell asleep... She was a good girl and woke us up when she wanted to go to the toilet. We took her outside she went straight on the grass, did her business and hopped straight back into bed and fell asleep. Last night she slept from 10:30 til 6am without waking us up once to go to the toilet. I think we are very lucky to have such an easy dog! Nick is already teaching her her name and to come. She can already fetch her little ball and bring it back to us! We are amazed! We introduced her to both our families on Friday night and our parents are smitten! VERY proud grandparents We will send you through some little photos of us and Elsie soon. Thanks again Lainie for bringing such a beautiful little soul into our lives. We couldn't be happier! Amy, Nick and Elsie Turner (Adelaide, South Australia)
