We trust our Weis with kids!

Our grandchildren love to visit Ashlaren Park to play with our Weimaraners and we trust our Weis to be gentle with our young grandchildren whilst at the same time, teaching the children to always respect the Weimaraners as well. Baby Brent, our grandson, offers Oska a special treat which he gently takes from the toddler...our Weis love kids!

Our only grand daughter, Lauren, just loves her Weimaraners and Suzie does not mind if Lauren has a little nap with her...

This lovely photo was sent to us recently from Eliza and Keiran in Victoria who have an Ashlaren young male called Hugo. Baby Ava in the photo is safe and happily sleeping whilst Hugo, the family Weimaraner, protects her. Eliza wrote about Hugo: "He is a big boy now and just the best family pet!! He is so gentle, with our little Eva. Now that she is 6 months old,she is just loving having Hugo around and her face lights up when he comes in the room!" (Eliza Stankovic, Melbourne.)

Our Weimaraners consider themselves very much part of the family and take on their babysitting duties and playtime activities with small children with a gentleness that is rarely found in other breeds.

'You can't see me!' This is Ashlaren Salona ('Misha') owned by Monika and John Marosszeky of Glen Alpine, NSW. Misha is currently being trained by Monika to enter competitive obedience trials in the future.

'Here I come! Ready or not!' Misha is such a character and John and Monika always let us know the latest comical antics of this delightful Weimaraner!

Bella is Ava's litter sister in New Zealand and her breeder, Wendy of Graysville Weimaraners, sent me this delightful photo of Bella sneaking a quick kiss for her best friend Ned (a cross Rottie Mastiff) at the dog park when she thought no one was looking! Bella and Ava are sired by Am/Can/NZ Ch WinWeim Rio Grande (imp USA) and their mother is NZ Ch Ashlaren Cezanne, Oska's daughter. What a lovely temperament Bella has!
